The Haven

Desane is proud to support The Haven Nepean Women's Shelter. The Haven provides support and a refuge to keep women and children safe from domestic violence and those who may also be facing homelessness. They also provide much needed intensive support, case management and programs to rebuild safety and stability for families in the Nepean area.

Father Atanasio Gonelli Charitable Fund

Desane is a proud major sponsor of the Father Atanasio Gonelli Charitable Fund, a public benevolent institution established in 2011, to continue the decades of charitable work carried out by the late Father Atanasio Gonelli in aid of the less fortunate members of our community. Some of the many projects the Charitable Fund has funded include Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Dementia Australia Research Foundation, the Concord Cancer Centre at Concord Hospital and individuals in need.

Italian National Ball

Desane is proud to sponsor the Italian National Ball. Co.As.It. Italian Association of Assistance, a not-for-profit migrant community organisation, hosts the Italian National Ball annually. Each year’s profits go towards community programs, some of which include an early intervention dementia program, social isolation program, active ageing program, and carer support program. Funds raised from the 2019 Ball will go towards the 10,000 Italian Roses Project, to raise awareness and increase the rate of breast screening among women of multicultural background.

APIA Leichhardt Tigers Football Club

Desane is a proud alliance partner sponsor of the APIA Leichhardt Tigers Football Club. The Football Club is based in the heartland of Australian football, Sydney’s inner western suburb of Leichhardt, with its home ground at Lambert Park. The APIA Leichhardt Tigers has men’s, women’s and children’s soccer teams.

NSW Parliament Landscape Photography Prize 
- Head On Photo Festival

For a number of years, the Head On Photo Festival has worked with New South Wales Parliament to exhibit the Head On Landscape Photography Prize. The exhibition also features finalists in the NSW Parliament Landscape Photography Prize; a prize awarded to the best photograph of a landscape within NSW. Desane is delighted to have sponsored the exhibition from 2014 to 2017.
