159 Allen Street, Leichhardt

In April 2018, Desane acquired this 2,782m² warehouse site, with masterplan zoning approval for approximately 50 residential apartments. The property is located 200m from the Hawthorne Light Rail Station, as well as being a short distance to other public transport and the Norton Street shopping precinct. The University of Sydney and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital are also in close proximity.

Development plans for the site are being prepared for lodgement of a Development Application.


91 Thornton Drive, Penrith

The site, located on Thornton Drive, Penrith, has an area of approximately 1.2 hectares with an 88m frontage to Thornton Drive.

The property falls within the ‘Thornton’ Master Plan and is located within 400 metres of Penrith Railway Station, 500 metres of Westfield Penrith Plaza, the Penrith CBD and with easy access to the new WestConnex Motorway, the Penrith Nepean Hospital and the future Western Sydney Airport.

Development plans for the site are being prepared for submission of a planning proposal seeking to amend the zoning and the maximum building height that applies to the site. This will enable the development of a unique project and will assist the Penrith Local Government Area in fulfilling its vital role as one of Sydney's regional city centres.


68-72 Lilyfield Road, Rozelle

Desane has entered into an unconditional contract for the sale of this property with Roads and Maritime Services (RMS).


47-51 Lilyfield Road, Rozelle - Easton Rozelle

This boutique development, Easton Rozelle, was completed in December 2015.  The project comprised 32 apartments, including 14 one bed, 16 two bed and 2 three bedroom apartments. The development was marketed for sale by CBRE Project Marketing and generated approximately $32 million in gross sales revenue for the Group.


316-332 Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove

In the mid 2000's, Desane and its project team commenced the process of rezoning the former industrial property to high density residential - a process that ensured a more compatible and economic use of the land, whilst enabling Council to meet its sub regional planning requirements for housing.

In 2012, Desane, obtained development approval for the site for a 218 residential apartment complex. The project comprised 5 separate apartment buildings, containing a mix of well sized 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, ranging from 6 to 8 storeys.

Desane sold the residential development site for $40 million in 2014.
